1. A public library was inaugurated at the hands of IMA PCB patron Dr. Dilip Kamat and IMA PCB trustee Dr. Prabhakar Burute along with Sarpanch of Godumbare village Mrs Nishatai Sawant and Mr Bhatane of Gramprabhodhini. IMA PCB donated cupboards, tables, chairs and hundreds of books for the library. The total renovation of the library room including repairs, painting, carpets for flooring etc was done by IMA PCB. The ceremony started with a prayer sung by school girls. Mr. Bhatane from Gramprabhodhini and 2 school girls spoke about importance of books and reading. The concept of IMA and its overall role was well explained by Dr Dilip Kamat and IMA PCB President Dr. Sushil Muthiyan on behalf of IMA.
2. Health check up camp was held at ZP school Godumbre. Almost 175 villagers took advantage of the health check-up by consultants from all the various fields of medicine, surgery, gynecology, orthopedic, opthalmology, ENT, paediatric etc. Blood collection for different investigations was done in the camp. Available possible medicines were distributed. Health cards with helpline numbers were given to the patients.

All the activities of the camp were properly recorded in special booklets with serial numbers and basic registers. Patients were handed over health cards and prescriptions for medicines. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Suryawanshi, Asha health care workers and ground staff of PHC and ZP school were present.

The camp activity ended after small thanksgiving function with thoughts of betterment in different aspects for the next camps. IMA is going to conduct similar camps quarterly throughout the year.
