Organ Donation CME

Organ donation and transplant CME was organized by Padmashree Dr DY Patil Medical College and Hospital in association with IMA PCB. The delegates were treated to an academic feast with in-depth knowledge shared by speakers.

Dr. Vrishali Patil and her organizing team with Dr. Shailaja Mane and Dr. Datye, Dr. Daksha Nirhale and Dr. Chaya Suryawanshi were instrumental in ensuring smooth flow of the program. The handpicked speakers and both keynote speakers kept the audience spellbound. Dr. Vrishali had invited her transplant patients also. Their real life experiences brought a tear to many an eye. Yeoman service is provided by Dr. Bhagyashree tai Patil and the management under leadership of Dean Dr. Bhawalkar for promoting transplant in the country.

IMA PCB newsletter Spandan the brainchild of President Dr. Maya Bhalerao that completed a decade was released on this occasion. Madam narrated the history and co incidence of first Spandan release on topic of Organ Donation in DYP itself. Dr. Sumeet Lad, Dr. Nihar Ingale and Dr. Karambelkar put together a fantastic issue much appreciated by all present. Excellent team organisation co ordinated by Secretary Dr. Sarika Lonkar and well supported by Dr. Bhalerao, Dr. Dekate, Dr. Rashmi, Dr. Doiphode ensured success of the CME.
