IMA PCB in association with medical department PCMC organised GBS webinar. 700 plus doctors joined this webinar. Dr. Varsha Dange, SMO, PCMC Medical department was host. She helped in organising this webinar and providing online zoom platform support. Dr. Maya Bhalerao, President IMA PCB welcomed delegates and gave opening adDr.ess with brief overview of IMA PCB activity. Dr. Aniruddha Tongaonkar spoke about clinical signs and symptoms and management protocol. Dr. Amitkumar Pande shared guidelines from neurological society and explained about etiopathology and treatment. Dr. Vishwanath Kulkarni explained the pediatric aspect of GBS.
Dr. Laxman Gophane, MOH spoke about surveillance and updated delegates about guidelines and facilities available in all PCMC hospitals. He updated about testing timeline, sample pick up and assured about bed availability in cases of emergency.
