Medifit Conference

On 24th May, Medifit 2026 was conducted. The conference focused on fitness for doctors with various topics ranging from diet by Dr. Nikhil Burute, simple exercises by Dr. Mandar Doiphode, fitness parameters by Dr. Deepak Salunkhe, advantages of yoga by Ms Mukta HS, mindfulness and programs focusing on physical transformation by Dr. Prashant Darveshi and Dr. Anand Patil. The key note speeches were given by Dr. Aniruddha Chandorkar who spoke about cardiac fitness and Dr. Shashank Shah spoke about Obesity and reshaping lives.

Stress Busters section moderated by Dr. Deepali Tongaonkar was enjoyed by the audience. It comprised talks on photography by Dr. Vinit Kolhe, spirituality by Dr. Rohidas Alhat, acting by Dr. Sanjivkumar Patil and singing by Dr. Sumedh Andurkar. The panel discussion on “How did I do it” moderated by Dr. Manisha Doiphode had ultra marathon runner Dr. Neelam Vaid, Ironman Dr. Suresh Pethe, fitness icon Dr. Kailash Sachdeo and Everest Base Camp trekkers Dr. Aniruddha Tongaonkar and Dr. Ashish Dolas. They covered a wide range of topics in the discussion ranging from training to nutrition and recovery. They also shared some key insights and beginner tips.

Spandan was released on this occasion by Chief Editor Dr. Amruta Ingale with Advisory board members Dr. Shubhangi Kothari and Dr. Shilpa Kshirsagar.
The conference was a resounding success with almost 250 delegate registrations. The crowd was glued to their chairs till almost the last session, which was a clear testimonial to the quality of the content and the caliber of the faculty. Valake, Scientific committee chairman Dr. Nihar Ingale and zonal incharges.
