IIMA PCB in association with Aditya Birla Hospital organized CME and live surgical workshop in Robotics on 22nd May, 2022. It was an academic feast for the registered delegates. Dr. S.P. Somashekhar gave an excellent presentation on Journey of Robotics in India and Robotic surgery in GI diseases.Dr. T.B. Yuvaraja took the audience through some basic information about robotic surgery and gave an in-depth scientific lecture on Robotics and Urology. Live demonstration of robotic hysterectomy was done by Dr. Nikhil Parwate. Dr. Hemant Patil then gave a stepwise detailed talk about applications of robotic assistance in orthopedic surgery and anaesthetist Dr. Sai Nath Mohanty spoke about how anaesthesia is given in these cases. Almost 100 delegates had registered for this event. Spandan issue dedicated to Robotics was released on this occassion in the presence of IMA PCB dignitaries Dr. Dilip Kamat, Dr. Sanjay Devadhar, Dr. Sanjeev Datye, Dr. Vijay Satav, Dr. Aniruddha Tongaonkar and Dr. Hemant Patil. CEO of ABMH Dr. Rekha Dubey was present on this occassion. IMA PCB executive committee members Dr. Shilpy Dolas and Spandan Editor Dr. Santosh Latkar were present for the release.
