City Tuberculosis centre PCMC and IMAPCB has organised half day CME on 22nd February on TB innovation and insights in NTEP at Chanakya hall, YCM hospital, Pimpri. Excellent and informative talks were given by Dr. Anjali Dhone, Dr. Deepali Ambike, Dr. S K Toke , Dr. Aniruddha Kadu (WHO consultant NTEP) and Dr. Rajabhau Yeole (State representative) which emphasised TB diagnosis, treatment, prevention, guidelines for NTEP, TPT , MDr. TB and recent guidelines. Dr. Balasaheb Hodgar, Dr. Govinda Narke and additional MOH, PCMC Dr. Dadewar also shared their inputs in an interactive session attended by almost 300 delegates. Dr. Laxman Gophane, MOH PCMC appreciated the collaboration of IMA PCB and PCMC , working together as a team. Dr. Varsha Dange extended wholehearted support to organise CME.

IMA PCB President Dr. Maya Bhalerao spoke about IMA membership Dr.ive and extended gratitude for the support of PCMC for IMA activities. IMA PCB Secretary Dr. Sarika Lonkar gave input about certified Free online course for doctors on NTEP by IMA HQ which is targeted for TB elimination. The link will be shared to all the groups. IMA PCB Treasurer Dr. Manisha Doiphode appealed to all to support IMA Maharashtra state panel in MMC election. Present on the occasion were IMA PCB EC members Dr. Manisha Patil and Dr. Rupali Ekbote.
