Bhakti Shakti Cyclothon
Indo Athletics Society conducted 8th edition of the 100 km cycling competition from Nigdi to Lonavala. Not only cyclists from Pune, PCMC, Ahmednagar, Narayangaon, Udgir, Solapur and various parts of Maharashtra, but more than 1200 people from all over India participated in this competition. All the participants were flagged off from Bhakti Shakti, Nigdi by entrepreneur Mr. Annare Biradar, IMA PCB Patron Dr. Dr. Dilip Kamat, IMA PCB IPP Dr. Vijay Satav, executive committee member Dr. Suhas Mate, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office-bearer Hemantji Harhare, Krida Bharati’s Milindji Dange, Unnati Social Foundation’s Sanjay Bhise, IAS’s Gajanan Khaire, Ajit Patil, Ganesh Bhujbal as well as Arun Developers’ Ramsaran Gupta and Chartered Accountant Krishnalal Bansal.
Bhakti Shakti Cyclothon has 3 categories, which include 20 km Bhakti Shakti to Dehuroad, 50 km Bhakti Shakti to Kanhe Phata and 100 km Bhakti Shakti to Lonavala. On this occasion, persons who have done outstanding work in various fields were felicitated.
