Health Talk at Preschool

On occasion of International Women’s Day, IMA PCB WDW conducted program for women at Jigyaasa Preschool Wakad to empower them with knowledge on Women’s health. Around 40 women joined this program. This included the mothers of the school children, teachers and staff. WDW Chairman Dr.Jyoti Dekate gave excellent, informative, talk on menstrual health and hygiene. WDW Secretary Dr. Smita Valekar-Dudhale explained the healthy food choices that can be made with small tweaks in diet and daily meals. IMA PCB Treasurer Dr. Manisha Doiphode motivated the ladies for fitness and gave some tips on excercise. All the talks were very well appreciated by all present. The audience asked relevant questions and discussion about vaccines especially HPV was very fruitful. Centre Director Mrs. Shilpa Biswas felicitated all the speakers.
